Splittable 7 string Blackout

I saw a thread on the seven string forum from a year or more ago saying that these were available custom order but they had some compromise as the design was at that time.

I was wondering if that is still the case, if so what the compromise is, and how much a set would cost.

Well emg 89 sounds like a humbucker not an 85 so maybe that's what they mean.
