SQUIER DELUXE HOT RAILS STRAT

Re: SQUIER DELUXE HOT RAILS STRAT

Those have a very humbuckerish sound. It's good. I like it. I know they are humbuckers but I guess I expected them to sound a bit more single coil.

Are those the stock Duncan Designed pickups then?

They are made by Seymour Duncan for Squier they sound big to me but you can get a strat sound with them, I am really enjoying them.

Great sound, man. Welcome to the forum! I've nearly become convince that good pickups make all the difference. Not that good playing isn't needed just that pickups make that good playing, great playing. (in your case great playing into fantastic playing, nice work!)

Thanks "gilaltom3" for the very kind words and welcome. :thanks:

Hot Rails: Not just for metal anymore!

Dig the playing, and the style...welcome!

Thanks "Laughing Kookaburra" .... I appreciate the comments. These "Hot Rails" are the first SD pups I've ever used and I think they really work well with this guitar. Actually today I got hold of the SD "SH-4 Bridge & SH-2 Neck Hot Rodded Humbucker Set" for a guitar I'm putting together, I plan on using the triple shot switching system as well.
