I am thinking about picking up one of these Squire Jazzmaster's and I was just wondering if anybody has played them and how they would rate them?

I played one, it was a decent guitar but the neck left me unfulfilled.

love them, great deal - need a little tweaking but they are worth the effort. might take a few to find the right one, final QC is a little hit or miss but they are easy to come by.

check out the J Mascis sig as well, love mine big time. been thinking about a sonic blue VM down the line to partner it with

** as to AZ's comment they are more of a vintage style neck, small frets a little trimmer etc, the Mascis neck is dy- no-mite! little fuller profile and med jumbos**

It wasn't a bad guitar, It just wasn't for me. :) it's kind of hard to love something like that when I have the high cost version.

I just picked one up yesterday from a local Sam Ash for $250. I was really impressed with how it played thru the 69 Twin Reverb I tried it out thru but I am really impressed with how good it sounds thru my lil mustang amp. Such a steal.

I liked the J better than anything I played other than an AVRI and I wasn't laying out that kind of bread. The VM's were more than close enough to the MIM's for me.
