Squier VM Jaguar pickup and possible equivalents

Hi, I bought a Squier Jaguar months ago and I like it a lot!
I already modded it a little (staytrem bridge, etc) and as next step I'd like to change pickups.
The stock ones sound good, but not great, and I'd like to change them with something similiar...
I'm not much into accurate vintage jag pickup because they are too thin for my taste, but I also like to get more vintage-y sound sometimes (I use the strangle switch a lot for this porpouse).
I measured the resistance of both bridge and neck pickup: they read respectively 11,45k and 6k and their outputs are perfect to me.
What would be the closest choice to the stock duncan designed pickups?
For the bridge: is the Hot for Jaguar similar in sound? In video demos it seems to sound a lil thinner and mid scooped than stock, but demos are not always accurate... and how does it works with strangle? It helps to get a ""weaker""-vintage sound?
For the neck one I was wondering about the Antiquity model, any thoughts?
Dunno, tell me what you think would achieve a similar tone with a clearer and fuller sound! :)
Thank you

(p.s. please, don't reply with "if you like the stocks just keep them!", liking something doesn't mean it's perfect to me-
p.p.s. sorry for any mistakes, I'm a tired, but hope you'll understand anyway
p.p.p.s.(again) Oh, if you are interested in the way I use this guitar and its sounds I can pm you my band's page on fb, it has videos of some of our songs... dunno, maybe it can help you?)

Ok, I guarantee no one else will make this recommendation... But I have played a number of classic player jazz masters and was amazed at the tone...jazzish bright attack with thick mids.

Did some research and the pups are closer to p90s than jazzmasters. No idea why I liked them so much but you might want to try a classic, see if it's what u like and watch eBay... They come up a lot... Maybe no one but me likes this pup;)

I tried a Classic Player Jaguar in a store near me, but it didn't sound that good to me (but I agree about the jazzmaster!)

Those are good choices. I have the neck antiquity Jaguar and it's class. All the ants are. The hot is a good idea for the bridge too. You want something with a lil more power for bridge.

Sorry, long day, I misread jag for jazz so my post makes no sense. I have no jag experience so thanks for humouring me.

Does it work well with funky-jangly sounds? The highs seems a lot attenuated in official tests, is it because of their settings?

Oh, ok
Thought you were comparing the two models ahahah

Re: Squier VM Jaguar pickup and possible equivalents

Sorry. Yes, you'll get funky jangley sounds all day with the Ant and Hot. There will be plenly of highs. You don't want a 6k bridge pickup, they barely work on their own.
