SSL-1/APS-2 -- wrong pups sent

I ordered APS-2 and SSL-2 RwRp from an online store. They arrived today, but they sent the SSL-1 RwRp instead of SSL-2. I intend to put the SSL in the mid and APS in the neck. My guitar is mahogany HSS with 12' radius rosewood fretboard. Being a HSS guitar, I have 500K pots installed for both volume and tone.

Do you think I should go ahead and install SSL-1 anyway, or send it back and have it replaced with SSL-2?

BTW, the humbucker is DiMarzio. Do you have any instruction on how to wire it (both full and splitted) with an RwRp SSL?

EDITED: My main concern is that I'm afraid that a staggered pup might not blend well with flat pup in the notch position. That's why I ordered SSL-2 instead of SSL-1 to match with APS-2.

If you didn't get what you ordered, contact the store and get them to correct their mistake. Well, that's what I'd do!

There is one problem to that. Usually SSL-2 RwRp is on backorder since it's not in great demand. If I'm going to return it, I guess it would take me over 2 weeks to get a new one (including sending back, backorder, shipping the new one), as I'm in Singapore and the store is in Canada. :(

The shop will replace my pickup but they only refund my return shipping fee in form of store credit. So, basically, replacing it would cost me some more money and time. So now I'm quite tempted to just get over it and install the SSL-1 anyway.

Any more opinions?

Yeah , just do it :) It'll sound great and you'll forget all about it soon.
