Man, that lead tone is killer! Now I know what pickups I want for my Artcore when it arrives! Great playing too!

Thanks. I'd check out the dimensions of the Artcore pickups to see if they are compatible with SDs. Probably the same, but worth checking.

ARE YOU SURE IT ISN´T FOR METAL? ahahahah if it has ANY similarity with Custom Custom, and has a Tightier Bass the the Custom custom, it will surely do Metal.
Q:p

Well, I only say that because a lot of metal guys consider the SL too "whimpey".

The CC is similar but much "thicker" and doesn't have all those nice "vintage" harmonics which the SL has. For high gain, I'd go for the CC.

As Dave says, "My favorite quality about this clip is the delay/echo you have going on."

What are you using for that? Heck, what's the whole rig you're playing through?

Great chops...Very Steely Dan.

Thanks. I use a Tokai 335 copy with Seth Lover. As an amp, I use the amp modeller of my drum machine. Its based on a Boss GT-6 (at least that's what the Roland marketing guy says). I use 2 delays: one on the amp modeller and longer one which added in the sw mix.

Re: Start Track - Seth Lover addiction

Damn... that's a nice tone considering you don't even use an amp :eek2:
Was that humbucker split in that clip? Sounds a little bit single-coilish

I wish I could improvise like that!!
