Steve Stevens Bare Knuckle-Rebel Yell pickups

Has anyone played these great pickups designed by Steve for his personal use in his new Les Pauls and now offered to us!
Steve has been a great favorite of mine for many years with his great fusion of different guitar styles and balls to the wall tone!!

Has anyone here tried Steves new pickup designed in conjuction with Bare Knucle pickups of the UK??
It is mentioned to be a great clear sounding rock pickup which maintains clarity at distorted amp settings

I haven't looked at your links yet, but I read that Steve Stevens favorite humbucker has always been the JB. When he went to Bare Knuckles and had them make the pickup, it ended up being BK's version of the JB......like they basically just made a slightly underwound JB, probably to pull back the mid spike just a hair.

The Ray Gun covers would sure look cool on the right guitar though.

I've got one in my Epi Custom bridge. A real fat, punchy beast. Sounds very different to a JB or any pup I've tried so far.

i played it in a music man axis. it's more open than the JB, has better harmonics and sings like a mofo. it has a really fluid sound to it

I thought the Nailbomb was supposed to be the JB without the mid-spike?
