OMG!! That neck is stunning!!!

Glad you found the tele thread you were looking for cuz I knew there was one too and woulda drove me nuts. PLUS, every since the last forum update, I cant search anymore most of the time.

I liked the colors on that run off charvels, but I could never get into the tele shape . But now Ive grown to like it. ticks me off cuz I coulda scored one of those cheap.. And I think they made tele shape in my fav color of the whole run. Wasnt the tele avail in dark purple? Maybe it was the one with the pickguard. I was so hoping they'd do the dark purple in the solid one. Anyhow, gettin off track..

Anxious to see how this builds up..

Things have slowed down a bit and with the long weekend I decided to put a little more work into the Telecaster. After much contemplation I'm finishing the body in Nitrocellulose Butterscotch Blonde.

I liked the oil finish better, the grain showed more, but that's just my preference, still a nice guitfiddle!

Thanks folks. I have done a couple oil finishes previously and nitrocellulose is the only thing I can get a decent spray job out of so I was toying with Mary Kay or Butterscotch Blonde and chose the Butterscotch for this one. I actually like the way it came out and think it should wear well. Screwed it all together today and hope to have it finally completed very soon.

XSSIVE's stuff is always SO NICE! That Kiesel is pretty cool, and I like the Fender too, except why did they leave all the buffing compound in rear rout and why didn't they hide the ground wire?! Doing it that way is just ugly and tacky! Yes leave the cover off, but make it look nice!

Thanks guys! I'd like to do another Floyded T at some point but keep it for myself unlike the flame top one that's for sale. I'm thinking a bit more classic style looks with guard and control plate.

Exactly my thoughts and where I went with the one I'm working on.
