I am used to my other guitar with emg 81/85 pickups, but this JB in Jackson DK2S just don't seem to have enough bite and output for me. Through Randall Diavlo i cannot use only gain of the amplifier which i do with guitar with emgs, first i have to add clean boost from od pedal, plus raise the gain up and than i am there.. I have a feel that this JB is running through 250k pot. Also without boost engaged i am noticing a little muddynes in tone. Any owner here of older japan Jackson Dinky with HSS configuration?
