Strat back plate screws

This is not a big deal or anything but figured to ask anyway, on one of my strats some of the screws for the back plate don't tighten all the way they just keep on turning in the screw hole. Is this normal and is there anyway thing I can do to correct it like the other screws that screw until its tight and can't go anymore. thanks in advance

The hole is stripped thats all, normal for wood. I've heard the old toothpick and glue trick works well.

that's right, bit o wood glue, around a match, stick it in there...go watch tv. Trim and screw.
