IMO slap a piece of maple on top of your body, rout it Hum/Hum, and throw in a pair of Seths!!

i think either of those would be a good all around set. i might go with the rails cause i had that set before and really liked it

I love the hotrails in the bridge of one of my strats so thats my pick!
I also use a JB in other strats and love it but I've never tried the JBjr.

Easily HR/VR/CR. They match so pefectly. One step better than that though is CR/VR/CR. The Cool Rails are so much cleaner in the bridge.

I think you'd get more versatility out of the Rails set for sure. The JBjr is great but not real full and the vintage rails is just that. Whereas the rails can cover most everything and well.

I asked for (and got) the HR/VR/CR pickups for Christmas. I'm thinking that I'll get my strat mod'd to have the middle pickup tone knob work for the bridge instead. Good idea or bad?

I need to learn how to do this soldering stuff, but I'm not willing to on my primary guitar, maybe I'll have to get one of those Squier '51's that everyone is raving about on HC.

yea, i bought a beater guitar and tricked it out, cuz i didn't care if i screwed it up not\w i'm comfortable with any guitar haha

I Did that to my strat......1 vol (push pull bridge anytime), 1 tone neck and middle and 1 tone bridge. Strat is setup with Stack + neck/middle, Lil 59 in bridge.

Sounds like in general Seymour packaged the wrong set as the Everything Axe Set.

Think I want to do another strat with one of those ideas...sounds like it will be all rails.

Is the CR better than lil 59?? I am really diggin the 59.

I'd go with the rails set for sure, though if your amp has enough gain, I'd probably go with a CR in the bridge and a pair of Hot Stacks in the neck and mid.

I'm also intrigued by the idea of a trio of Parallel Axis Stacks. :burnout:
