Strat.... help!

How many more parts (and which parts) would I need to attach this to an American Fender strat body? I am buying this cheap thing for the electronics, then buying a nice alder strat body. I have all the parts to the guitar except for the body and everything inside, except pickups and pots (got those). And also, how difficult would it be to obtain whatever parts I need and attach them? I am thinking a whammy bar/bridge/input jack would be nice. Anything else? I'm pretty inept when it comes to this stuff.

Ah screw it. Too big of a pain in the ass. I'm just buying a Mexi strat, putting my american neck on it, changing the pickups and pots, and plugging it in.

To attach the pickguard all you need would be twelve pickguard screws. The holes may not line up on one or two of them- no big deal.

Make sure the Mexi and American neck pockets are the same size. They may not be.

If I were you, I'd get better electronics (pickups, pot, caps, etc.) in stead of going for the American body.
