Strat HSS pickups

I have a MIM HSS Strat and want some new pickups for it. I have chosen a JB trembucker but i have no idea what to go for when it comes to the two single coils and i was pointed in the direction of Irish tour bare knuckle. It has a rosewood fingerboard and i like all styles of music so versatility is a must. Any suggestion would be great thanks.

First of all, welcome to the Forum! We hope you stick around.

For your single coils, is hum-canceling of concern? And do you want a traditional Strat voice or something else?

Re: Strat HSS pickups

Thanks and hum cancelling is not really a big concern and i feel a traditional strat voice would be pretty good but i don't mind it being something else. I like to play all types of music as i stated before but my preferences are classical, blues and hard rock if that is at all helpful.

Re: Strat HSS pickups

For a traditional Strat tone, I'd recommend SD's SSL-2 Vintage Flat pickups. If you want something beefier and fatter, go for the SSL-4 Quarter-Pound.

If you live in the USA, you have three weeks from when you buy your SD pickup to use it in your guitar and determine if it's the right pickup for you. If you're not 100% satisfied, you can return it--either to the store or direct to SD-- for a full credit towards another SD pickup model. You can learn more about this policy here.
