I'd say there are basically 2 routes you could take, either the hot rodded route or the good old low output route.
For a real hot rodded route, an invader bridge gibson 496R neck would be my recommendation. For a little lower output JB/59 is a top-notch solution. And finally CC bridge and A2P bridge in the neck (or PGb in the neck depending on how bright your neck position sounds; On a strat I'd not get a PGb in the neck if the neck position already has noticable highs, a2p-b to me sounds better) is a classy set with lots of "fair warning" signs around it.
Now if you like more traditional tones (as I do) you gotta first identify how bright you guitar is. If it is a naturally bright one I'd shy away from A5 bridges! PGb (which isn't dark at all but definitely has that a2 smoothness) or better yet seth (or gibson BB2) are great pickups. PGb has a little more uppermids that I really like. Seth is great, but does not have them uppermids that generally helps to cut through. But of course it depends on the wood, too much uppermids would make you sound like Angus all the time.
If your guitar is not that bright a hot 59b (or a PG+ that measures like 8.70K and above) is my favorite. (BTW gibson BB-V bridges are cool too.)
For the neck I'd say a PGn if your guitar is not that bright, otherwise an a2p.
BTW an a5 (or a4) modded ant bridge and an a3 (or stock dun-aged a2) ant neck kills all of the above (<--- my opinion)!
Good luck.
