Strat project continues, body arrived!

Well, the body I'll be using for my project Strat came in today and everything looks great. No finish flaws, and all the routing/drilling is fine. It also seems nice and resonant as far as I can tell via tap tests, so it should be a nice foundation to start from. I should be able to place my neck order next week.

Thanks guys, I'm excited too . I'd like to take my time and finish this around the spring or early summer, but this is gettin' me all riled up haha.

Holy crap man, that's the coolest finish I've ever seen on a strat! Where'd ya pick it up? eBay?

Yeah, I got in on Ebay. It's actually a Fender MIM body, check out the Standard Satin series, there are some cool finishes. I almost snagged a satin Candy Apple Red, but I decided on this one.

TIGHT color! :32: reminds me of a deeper version of the anthracite color that Fender does on the Clapton Strat.

If I ever get my custom axe done I wanna do that type of finish.
