For sale is a “Strat” style wiring harness, that allows you to convert your standard three-pickup Strat into a “Big Apple” or New York Strat.
The harness includes:
A Seymour Duncan APH-1N Alnico Pro Neck Humbucker with Double White (not cream) bobbins.
A Seymour Duncan APH-1B Alnico Pro Bridge Humbucker, also Double White
A 5-Way Super Switch
A 500K Volume Pot
Two 500K Super Tone Pots with Push-Pull Switching.
The Alnico Pros are Slash’s pickup of choice, and give smooth PAF tone. With the four-conductor pickup leads, the push-pull pots and the 5-way Super Switch, the combinations make for great versatility.
I was going to use this to modify one of my guitars, but sold it.
The electronics would cost about $45.00 from Stew-Mac; and the APH-1s sell for $80.00 each, a total value of $205.00.
Asking $110.00 for the entire harness and pickups, plus USPS Priority Mail shipping.
