Strat with TBX wiring diagram

Hi, guys & Happy New Year.

I scored a set of Ant Surfers/Texas Hot Special for Chrismas and now it's time to put 'em in. I looked through the wiring diagrams on the SD site and didn't see one for the '94 Strat Plus with the TBX tone control. Can someone point me to one?

It should be here, not necessarily the exact diagram, but you can propably cope with these.

Look at the American Standard Strats from that time, pre-2000. Same wiring as the Strat Plus. Mine has the TBX in it. Real simple. If you're just replacing the pickups, it's easy enough to do without the diagram, just change one at a time.

You're right, ErikH. Once I looked at it closely--and read some of your old posts--it was obvious how to put the new ones in. I'm in the middle of it now and it's going well.

Cool, angus. Glad you got it sorted out. The TBX is ok in it's stock form but I noticed it affected the output of the pickups it's attached to in a not so good way so I rewired it differently. blueguitar.org/new/schem/_gtr/tbx_fdp.pdf <--- the guy that came up with this is a genius. I was glad I found it because I was about to yank the thing out.

Thank you, both! I'd be finished and playing by now, but didn't have the right solder. It's on the way & I can't wait to hear this combination of Antiquity Surfer neck & middle and Texas Hot Custom Bridge. Had to wire it differently per Lew, swapping the neck & RW middle pup and then reverse wiring the bridge.

I think I'll play it with the TBX as is for awhile and may think about this mod down the road. But it's bookmarked . . . Thanks for sending ErikH and thanks for the diagram Fender_Punk.
