It looks like a U.S. body based on the two point trem and saddles. The swimming pool rout isn't too common on U.S. bodies, so that would narrow it down a bit. Do you have a close up pic of the stamps in the neck pocket?
I was told by 6 different guitar stores it is a American strat.. But trying to find value in it.. And what issue it is.. Cause it don't have original neck
I just got confirmation that it is either a American standard or a American strat plus... Everything on the body the pool design is 100 percent factory... So what could it be worth? Fender emailed me just now....
The swimming pool route was used on the American Standard from 1986 through 1993. It's not a bad thing. It doesn't adversely effect tone or sustain and it reduces weight.
