Hey Im Modifying one strat I have... putting jumbo frets and I wanna change pickups... I decided on a Hot Rails Neck. Thinking about ttrying the Custom 5 or the Original Parallel Axis Trembucker in my guitar.. cause I dont want a bright pickup in bridge. Im going to use them like this : Clean sounds neck or middle; Dirty Rhythm Bridge; Solos : Alternating between neck and bridge.
Questions :
I dont know what to put in the middle pickup (will be used for single coil sounds).. should I buy a vintage one, Hot Stack or leave it stocK? And what volume and tone pots should I use with those pickups?? Stock is okaY? has anyone used Custom 5 or PATB1 in strats?? Did you like it?
