I inspected the damaged on my malmsteen strat (some of you know that a drunk decided to do a Pete Townsend on a few of my guitars). The neck was shifting, and upon inspection, I found it was due to a stress crack near the upper right neck bolt.
To fix it, should I pull the neck till the piece of the neck heel cracks off, then re-glue it? It's not big enough right now to inject some glue in. The other alternative is to add another screw under the neck plate- like EVH was known to do on his Frankenstrat.
