Strymon Timeline.... WANT IT

Oh man... look at this thing. It's gorgeous. I don't even know the full deets on this and I want it.

I'd been leaning towards the Strymon El Capistan for tone but I'd been wanting the capabilities of the Empress Super Delay for versatility. This looks like it might be able to cover both bases.

I haven't read too much about that unit but am confident it will be beyond awesome.

Right now the El Cap with a Favorite Switch is rocking my world. I'm just looking to add one more delay to my board so I'll have three presets.

These guys really seem to be the real deal. I need to get beyond the YouTube videos and actually interact with them.

Gosh, I think I speak for Brendan when I say we are flattered by your interest, and please ... feel free to contact either of us whenever the inclination strikes!

This kind of humor kills me. The intentional misunderstanding bit. I try to use it all the time, and once in a blue moon, I get a laugh from it. This time, you did.

Sounds like a rough copy of the Eventide Timefactor... but not as powerful or versatile... what's the price point?

Well the full details aren't known on the thing yet. Price is said to be $449 street.

From what I've seen the Eventide seems like it's geared for people who really want to get in deep with delay sounds and tweak and program like you would with a rack unit. The Strymon seems geared towards the Bridagier/El Capistan crowd but give up more versatility, presets, and a looper and such. The Eventide has those of course but I'm guessing the TimeLine might be more geared for people who may be after a simpler operation and fans of the Strymon sound.

I haven't had the chance to try the Time Factor, and from what I've read/watched on YT it might be overkill for me. I've had a dd20 GigaDelay and wanted something between that and the DL4 with better sound quality to boot and this looks like it might be it.

Oh man, this one looks really, really nice. I might need one in the longer run..

Re: Strymon Timeline.... WANT IT

I'm almost certain I couldn't own that pedal and keep a full time job. I would be way too busy to work.
