It's very real, and makes sense -you can get "The Edge"'s double delay/verb sound perfectly in stereo with Strymon.....


and it is apparently law that ALL modern worship music sound like U2 derivatives.

The Edge and Coldplay were definitely an inspiration. Current worship guitar sounds tend to be even wetter than the edge’s. I disagree re the other instruments sounding like U2. The drums for example tend to be much bigger and the bass more sparse. Similar preaching level in the lyrics though

You just dont like the Edge because he doesnt have a Klirrton on his board.

That is as good of a reason as any. I really dislike both bands for multiple reasons.

AFA U2 goes, the main reason I don't like them isn't because of the Edge's atmospheric guitar playing, but Bono's irritating, whiny and grating voice.
