Re: Stuuuupid question time...can this be overlaid on an Epi headstock?
Ha ha, pretty much what I expected, but wanted to check it out just in case.
To address a few of the "concerns", I didn't want to try and pass off my Epi as a Gibson (see original post). As a matter of fact, I actually don't give a hoot what name is on the headstock, and I certainly would never ever, ever try to sell it with such a mod and pretend it was a Gibson if that's the name chose to put on it. I just truly detest the Epiphone headstock, and the Gibson headstock cover was the only thing I saw as an example. If you don't hate the Epi headstock, I don't expect you to understand why I do, just accept that I do.
I certainly do NOT have to skills to do all that would be required, and I certainly would not have spent $60 on that thing. Like I said, I don't even have the dough, but I thought it would be interesting to see if anyone had attempted this because I know there is a lot of hate for the Epiphone headstock. I really enjoy the guitar, just not the headstock.
As far as this being a lame thread, please see the title to know that I know it was a lame question, but I wanted some opinions, and I get a kick out of a lot of the insults as well, which there weren't too many of. I'm proud to say that I'm not afraid to ask the stuuuupid question. Remember, sometimes it takes folks who are actually thinking right to put those of us that aren't, back on the correct path. You guys are like my doctors. Fix me up, bros, lol.
