Thanks, it's good to hear that perspective. I'll try not to limit myself too much!+1about the part where necks that a player finds difficult can ultimately improve one's playing...I started on nylon acoustic, then got a very lousy Martin 12-20, which had a neck like a trainwreck ( new guitar, just crap) Then got a very good 6string Yairi that I still have, THEN went electric, got a Gibson 345, so that became the electric neck for me. Then added a 63 Gibson Melody Maker, which was good, got an Ibanez RG450 in '86, which has a narrow neck and for a long time I figured it had the best neck ever. Last year I got a D'Angelico Ex-DC, which is a Gibson 335 in disguise and found that it was as good as ever...I now have no problem changing guitar necks and (lightswitch goes on) all necks are cool, from the thickness of a '51 tele I got to play at a blues jam, to the new Ibby Wizard necks which sort of remind me of Les Paul neck width but with no backside...like the one guy said, find a guitar that speaks to your soul and let the neck thing take care of itself.

Thanks! Not sure on all of the specs but maybe check out Jay Tursers? They are great bargain guitars!
Thank you! Cool to find out about stuff like this. I'd be curious to try that asymmetrical neck. This seems to check all the boxes...
