Sunburst strat, what pickguard?

A buddy and myself ordered a rondo guitar and bass (both sunburst), to mod and mess with over spring break (also lets me teach him guitar electronics). We got a strat for him, and a p-bass for me. Both with rosewood fretboards.

So, the question arises... what pickguard? They come with white, I want mint green, and he wants white pearl (I also wouldn't mind black). We want to both have matching instruments, so which one do you guys think looks best?

I like mint on a sunburst It's unique.Everybody has white, Black reminds me to
much like SRV's#1 and Pearloid is O.K., But I think it looks better on a solid
color.

You might want to check out Warmoth's pearloid choices. They've added 2 more since the last time I ordered one - for a sunburst.

The "Pearloid white/black/white" looks mighty fine on a Fender 3-tone burst IMHO. That "Vintage Pearl" might look good too, but it may have too much yellow in it.

DISCLAIMER: no promises about Warmoth making the pickguard correctly ;)

White, white pearloid, or black. Sorry, but the mint green just doesn't work.

I reckon either black or tortoise for three tone sunburst. I'm going through the exact same thing right now with a two-tone sunburst strat. I have black on it right now, but the lack of red in the sunburst makes it look a bit weird. Black with cream pickups looks great on a three-tone sunburst, though. This is my other strat:
