Sunn 4x10 cab for guitar?

Hey I was just offered this stack for about 210 bucks. What do you think this would wound like for high gain stuff. I really like to roll off the highs, whilst bumping the mids and lows. Do you think this would cut it? I have a Bugera 333xl. I can't find any information about this cab. The only things I know are that it's very old (maybe 70's) and that it pairs up with a Sunn Concert Lead. Last I heard is that Sunn's website has no online information about these.

Sunn gear is great for low tunings and lots of distortion. I have lots of their cabs & heads.

Dang, for $210 I wouldn't even think about it. That's a steal. 410 cabs are tighter and punchier than 412s anyway, so I'd guess it'd suit you well. Go for it dude!

$210 for the stack is a no-brainer. It would be a steal at $210 EACH!!

Congrats man.

Why don't I ever find deals like this?!

I have to agree with everyone on here. That is a crazy steal! I have a SUNN Alpha 212R combo amp, and I love it.

As far as info on yours, I know different years had different types of speakers. I wouldn't worry so much about what kind of speakers, but just how much use they've had. I replaced the speakers in my amp due to them being made in 1977, and pretty much worn out. That, and I like Celestion 75 watt speakers (to replace them.)

But the best thing you can do is bring your amp head, and test them out. See, if they are for you. If they are, then it's a crazy good deal. If not, then no harm, no foul.
