I really can't say with words how much I love this amp. Designed by Zinky, it's a 1X12 combo (with Sola speaker) 25 watt, class A circuit, faithfully replicated from a 1958 Supro design.
The controls are volume, treble, bass & mids. :headbang: No master volume (meaning it's a loud ****er even at it's lowest clean setting) & no effects loop.
A good tele into it, instantly recalls vintage Jimmy Page tones (especially LZ1) A strat or LP JR w/ p-90's reminds me of Hendrix (Are You Experienced) & good Les Paul/humbucker guitar sounds a bit like Joshua Homme in a way (think Song For The Deaf).
Low settings yield that 'just before crunch' chime that only a gr8 class A circuit can deliver. Turning it up goes into a warm overdrive that just 'barks' like a maddog.
Extremely dynamic & the mids are soooo rich. Plays fine with pedals & I always get a "what the hell is that thing your using?" after gigs.
I was wondering if any other members here had tried one out (or bought one) & if they have any experience with the older Supros, like the Thunderbolt, Corsica or any others.
 methinks Mr. Zinky is one of the best out there, designing amps today....RAWK!
