Just installed SURFER (Neck & Middle)& TEXAS HOT Bridge!

Got these a month ago from tce44, just did a string change so I dropped them in.

They are just campbell's soup...MMM, MMM GOOD!!!!

If you have a SSS strat you got to try these pups, you'll like them!

Great set...my favorite Duncans in a Strat. Did you reverse the black and white wires on the bridge pickup? It'll be out of phase with the neck and middle Surfers if you didn't. Also, in order to get humcancelling when the middle pickup is combined with the neck or bridge pickup, the locations of the neck and middle need to be reversed: put the neck in the middle and the middle in the neck. i've fallen back in love with texas hot bridge and neck, im using 5/2 middle at the moment though...

how does the texas hot neck differ from the surfer neck, tonally?

Yes indeed....I still have the Surfers in my neck and middle and a Texas hot in the bridge of my Blue H1 strat..

Yep. tce44 original purchased from you, Lew. Gave me a great deal on them and the directions to do just what you said.
