Swapping the bridge on a Jackson KVX10

Re: Swapping the bridge on a Jackson KVX10

A couple more questions... if i have the JT580 Lo Pro, can i use any locking nut at the top of the neck like for example a Schaller locking nut from an Original Floyd Rose? I'm just curious if their all universal.
Also what's the difference between R1, R2, R3, R4, or R5? Excuse my ignorance, but i have no idea what that refers to, all i know is R2 is "standard".
Lastly, not all collar style trem bars fit all Floyd bridges, which i found out when i tried putting a whammy bar from a Floyd Rose Special on the JT580 Low Pro bridge...it wouldn't screw all the way down.
My question in regards to that, is which trem bars will fit the JT580 & JT580 Lo Pro? Just because it's hard to find one of the JT580 bridges for sale that has the trem bar with it & that may proove to be problematic.
Oh & one more thing (sorry for all the dumb questions), but with the Seymour Duncan pickups do i need a TB or an SH for the string spacing on the JT580 & JT580 Lo Pro bridges? Just because i've noticed on a lot of other online discussions, that quite a few people with Floyd bridges go with the SH, which i always assumed was the wrong thing.

Re: Swapping the bridge on a Jackson KVX10

R1-10 are the different nut sizes available with an OFR or Schaller FR, http://floydrose.com/nutsizes.html. R9 is the one closest to the stock Jackson nut.

OFR /Schaller bars will fit the jt 580 and 580 lp perfectly if you replace the collar assembly with the one that´s included with the replacement bar.

TB poles will line up better with teh strings than SH poles will.

Gotoh cheap imitation...ok you completely lost me there!!
What on gods earth is cheap about them??
Some very highend guitarmakers use them....
Cannot help to wonder about the sanity of guitarplayers sometimes!

I said they look like it to me, and that I prefer the look and feel of an OFR. Relax.
