Hi folks -
I've got an SWR Workingman 2004 200w head, on top of a 1x15 Avatar cab with tweeter (the speaker's a brand new Eminence).
I don't play it very often (I don't gig), but the last time I played through it, I heard something new: a little fuzz and crackle while I wasn't doing anything. It basically sounded like a dirty pot being moved, but a little muted.
Was this just an "don't mind me, I'm warming up a bit" bit of crackle?
I was playing a new-to-me bass with active electronics with unknown vintage of battery. I swapped basses while the amp was powered on, and heard the noise again a while later.
I do not have another bass head, to see if it's the cab, nor do I have another cab to see if it's the head.
