I have two friends, Ian and Alyssa, that yesterday celebrated the fourth birthday of their daughter Sydney. She was born still on November 30, 2007. They've been dealing with a lot of pain and other emotions for the past four years, and part of their healing process has been a song that Ian started working on a couple of years ago.
He finally finished tracking it about a month ago, sent it off to be mixed & mastered, and released the song yesterday. The song is for sale, and all proceeds go to an adoption fund that our church uses to provide interest-free loans to adopting families. I think it turned out extremely well, and is a great way for Sydney's memory to help other families moving forward.
