Honestly, it might be better to just learn those rudimentary synth lines on keys hooked up to the PA. Coming through a guitar amp, it might sound terrible.

I was thinking the same thing. If anyone sees this pedal as an easy solution to get synths into your rig, you are going to be in for a shock; it will require at least an ABY pedal, a compressor, additional cables, and a secondary amplifier on stage.

You could just run the wet out to the PA and use the dry for the normal chain.

As usual, Bill's demo sounds so good! This, a Key9 and a B9/C9 would be awesome!

I have the both C9 and Mel9 and I'll say this: It takes some serious skill to get the quality of sounds that you hear on EHX demos. Not that there's anything lacking on the units. It just takes some tweaking to get it into the zone and then touch and muting are everything.

hit the clean channel, step on pedal and go.

And I have an A/B/Y...heck - it can probably run straight in to the board.

As a long-time guitar synth player, it isn't that easy. Synth through a guitar amp's clean channel sounds terrible.

I guess you can do the swooping synth solo at the end of Lucky Man. Although you might not have enough octaves for that.
