after looking at the thread on new esp guitars for 2005, i am wondering about the different bridge system between the jh sig ec and the 30th annv ec.

what are the significant differences between a t-o-m bridge with a stop tailpiece or string-thru-body?

I am a fan of any bridge that is string-through. It is the way any hardtail should be. I never understood the stop tailpiece when you can go through the body and maximize resonance and wood tone.

I currently mainlu\y use vintage tremelo bridges... which are string through body, but getting a tune-o-matic on the next guitar.
