Hey Perogyboy; (btw - I love perogies. Haven't had one in awhile though.) The JB should go fine in that guitar. There's been quite a few threads on the JB lately. Pull up a chair and read awhile. You'll like this place.

I don't play ibanez guitars anymore, but I've always been impressed by their quality (low end stuff aside) and attention to detail. I like the Jet King in all but one aspect: the modern profile neck. To me, a pawnshop-style guitar should have a more vintage style neck.
