A thread in the Sound Off room reminded me about 'bio-feedback' practise, stuff like watching yourself play in the mirror or recording yourself playing to help study and perfect your technique.
I thought I'd give it a shot and recorded me struggling through the Sweet Child Intro (again
).
I'm kind of worried about my picking technique as the only way I can comfortably play is with my arm resting on the guitar by my elbow and my hand free-floating as I pick. I think this is why my picking accuracy is poor and why it took about 20 takes to make it through this little piece without screwing up.
If you guys could take a look and tell me what you think that would be great - you might be able to spot something I didn't.
LEE - This should show you how I manage it with 3 fingers instead of 4.
The clip is now an MPG file which will play in Windows Media Player and is 1.04Mb
