Tele bridge pickup to pair with dimarzio twang king

I posted this in someone else's thread but the thread died so I thought it was in order create my own thread for it.

There's a question about teles is what to use on the bridge, because there are plenty of great options for the neck pickup.

After hearing so many good things about the dimarzio twang king I bought one for the neck position to install in a future tele I'm thinking about. Now I really have no idea about what to use on the bridge, since I went with dimarzio on the neck I'm tending to go with dimarzio on the bridge either because I don't like to mix different brands. I'm not ruling out, though.

I see a lot of people using the chopper t combined with the twang king, maybe because it's Richie Kotzen's set, but I'm not looking for another humbucker, I have many other guitars with humbucker. I read that the twang king bridge is not that cool like the neck version. I'm thinking about the area T, even thought is not pure single, it has a nice clean sound, I almost bought the area for the neck too, but looking reviews of the twang version I decided to go with this pickup.

Is there a problem mixing stack with vintage single coil? Teles have the middle position on the pickup switch that select both pup's.

tks

I'm a huge Duncan fan. But I gotta admit - the Dimarzio Twang King neck pickup isy absolute favorite neck pickup for a Tele. Ever.

I've paired it with:
- Duncan Broadcaster
- Duncan 54
- Duncan Jerry Donohue
- Duncan Tapped Tele 53
- Fender Nocaster

And it worked great with all of them.

My personal favorite telecaster set is a TK neck with a Duncan JD bridge. Bright clear neck tones and huge fat twang from the bridge.

Also - the Twang King bridge pickup is pretty good. It's more on the modern side of things, in the sense that its got strong output but a more polite personality. The Duncan broadcaster, in contrast, gets pretty brash and aggressive.

I'm pretty sure the TK is A5 last time I checked... but that doesn't matter. they match up really well.

Are these two in phase or do I need to reverse the lead wires on one of them?

Thanks!
