Tele-guar guitar idea. Yay or nay?

Re: Tele-guar guitar idea. Yay or nay?

Hello there strummer friends, I'm new on this forum :)

Last night I was looking at some modded Telecaster porn, and I came up with a crazy idea :
What about a Telecaster with Jaguar control plates? Here is a pic I made up with PS :

Imagine this, with a rusty-old-heavy relic'd finish on it (maybe dark green?) and a p90 in the neck position. I'm thinking of using the standard phase/out-of-phase thingy from the standard Jag wiring in a bypass-able circuit, but keeping the Tele controls to still have that Tele bite. And if there are un-used switches, i could probably use them for some unusual mods (Yeah, I like it unusual.)
I would probably use it to burst out weird but bitey tones, like a blend of Radiohead and Stoner tones (Black Sabbath, Baroness...).

Is this even possible? Is this cool? Is this madness? We'll find out! I need your opinion on that project, and maybe your advice if you have some.
Thanks in advance guys, and keep on rockin'!

I like it !

GO FOR IT !

Afterthought :

. . . maybe even add a Jazzy tail-piece
