Tele installation help - why do my pickups sound out of phase??

I've just replaced my neck pickup on my tele and the middle position is notable weaker and sounds like the 2 pickups are out of phase.

Where did I screw up?:banghead:

What pups? Did you mix a Fender with a Duncan?

(btw - I feel weird asking you this. You aren't exactly a "noob".)

Hey, I never touch any of the wires.....

I'll have to defer this to someone else. Not familiar with either of those. If you don't mind the extra effort, you could just reverse the wires of one and see if that does it.
