IMO a VERY under appreciated guitar brand out there is Michael Kelly. The Patriot Custom I have is really an amazing guitar. Factor in the cost, and wow..

Anyhow, they have a new model coming out that a bunch of you might like.. I know there are alot of TV JONES fans here..

I was checking thier site. Havent in awhile. They have a Patriot that comes with Duncan Pearly Gates and Triple shots. Plus an Ebony board, deep set tenon, graphite nut, tone pros bridge and grover keys for under 5 franklins..

I've thought that for quite a long time now. Great guitars at even three times the cost, but $500 for the Patriot Supreme is a steal. You've got $350 just in the hardware and electronics.

Seriously.. My patriot has grover keys, tone pros locking bridge and tail, ebony board, real flame top on mahogany, and more, plays and sounds great and the thing that really blew my mind, even tho its a really really small detail, was when I opened the control cavity and all the wiring was in a tidy little bundle, zip tied together. Nice attention to detail on a guit that cost around $400

Well, didnt mean for this to sound like an ad for them. haha But I thought this was cool with the Tv jones pups and wanted to share. Thanks for chiming in. my lil thread was lonely. haha

My Fender Cab wants your pickup's!!! That is a great deal, like the Doc said "there's got to be almost $400 just in hardware and electronics there" nevermind the beautifully built guitar!!! Nice!!!

There has to be some sort of qquality compromise somewhere though... the fact that the price is that low actually makes me kind of wary haha

I understand, but honestly the MKs I've played (have played a few and owned a few, still own 1) have been impressive. Only had any issue with 1 and they fixed it under warranty.

That Patriot Supreme is gorgeous. They've also partnered with Rick Turner to sell his Renaissance line of guitars. Very cool.

I never knew they made teles.

Sometimes, it's more cost effective to create a project guitar out of one of those by replacing the neck with a super quality one. Then, sell the lower price point neck to recoup some of that cost.
