Hey, i was just wondering if anyone knows anything about replacement pickups for the fender telecaster thinline 72 humbuckers? They look alot bigger than normal pickups so would a normal humbucker fit n look alrite? will a soapbar fit aswell?
Any help would be much appreciated :)

If you have this Tele, look closely and you will see it has 4 mounting screws instead of the usual two. And you are right that the Tele-buckers are a little bit wider than normal humbuckers. You can put a regular bucker in there but you would have to drill two new holes in the pickguard.

If by soapbar you mean a P90, it wouldn't fit because P90's are longer than humbuckers.

Hi!
Rio Grande makes the tallboy(neck) and the muy grande(bridge)
to fit those guitars!
I got my muy grande from warmoth today! if you want i can give you a feedback on this when i`v tested it.

thanks for the replies. I dont actually have the guitar but im looking into buying one. Has anyone tried or got one of these n know wot the pickups r like? ive tried one a couple of times at my local guitar shop but never through an amp. It plays well but dunno wot they sound is like. Im after a sorta indie/heavy-ish sound but i play alot of rock/blues stuff aswell so i want it to be pretty versatile

The widerange hb`s belong to the "paf" family.(medium output)
they got nice mids but a muddy bass, new 500k or 1 meg pots will clear up the bass frequency a bit!
