Ick. That poor Tele.

If I needed a bar so bad, I wouldnt hack up my Tele to do it. I would just buy something with a bar.

I would rather just put Tele pickups/wiring in a Strat.

My guess this will go on more Strats than it will Teles, unless the Tele body is routed that way originally. Some people have a fetish for the uumph of a Tele pickup in the bridge in a Strat. For a lot of Strats it will only take a pickguard change (those with universal cavities).

Last time I heard of the 3 saddle trem is that it would not stay in tune very well, but I'd think those kinks were worked out by now. Glendale made a version.

The 3 saddle trem can work just fine...I built a Strat once that had a Tele bridge pickup and 3 Tele saddles on a Strat bridge...worked great and sounded cool too!

I guess I like the stetsbar or Bigsby better for a Tele. I'm not wild about anything that requires routing.

Yeah, I don't get the hate or criticism when a new innovation comes out. I'm not a fan if it's some ugly monstrosity that is bound for failure. But a Fender made trem bridge for a tele seems like a worthy product that has a good chance of being accepted.

The only two issues are the routing and the price. I'd be interested in trying one out at least.
