Personally, I've never found conclusive personal evidence that the wood has any difference from JUST the signal going out. I've gotten larger variations from changing bridge types, action/intonation changes, ect than I ever have from changing wood types. This is talking about a PURELY isolated signal though. I'm very curious to hear this!
Also...what's the scale length on both of these guitars?
