Anybody else find that the tele body shape is the most disgusting, boring shape? I literally can't stand the shape. Anyone have certain shapes that trigger a deep disdain?

Anything with a pointy or hockey stick headstock. (except for traditional Flying Vs and Explorers)

That's a bit harsh, and I wouldn't go so far as "deep disdain", but I really don't seem to like single cut guitars. I find the Les Paul to be particularly ugly, as well as uncomfortable, but I love the sound, and that makes up for everything else. I don't hate the tele shape quite as much, but its close. But the tele twang doesn't do as much to redeem it. I own a Lester. I doubt I will ever own a tele. But that's just my own tastes. Others love them, for good reason.

i love my teles! and usually dont realy care for pointys but ive always liked the iceman shape. the lower horn is totally phallic but if i was playing rock or metal, id totally have one

Well, a Tele is not my thing. But neither is an Iceman.
