They are very smooth to turn and have larger shaft diameter.
But that’s a surface mount pot, not one us mortals use.
oh, yeah, the one I posted is the FOUR POLE version. Yes they make a 4 pole push pull potme like! This is the regular push pull

i'm not sure what you mean by surface mount? We use them like regular pots. They have a 10mm shaft, they install like a regular one. They're just better.
Surface mount is for prefabricated circuit boards. All the lugs on surface mount are pins that insert into the circuit board. That’s what you posted.
A switch for hand wiring would have proper open-hole lugs that allow threading a wire through to solder. That switch isn’t it.
If you say so. Never had issues wiring these. In fact, these are so much easier to use than regular pots. We've used them on hundreds of Aristides guitars so far. they're just super reliable.
and I don't know why they're so expensive retail...
