the vocals from this are from a really old song i did with my friend back in 2005
thats right when i got back into guitar again.
cool thing is the mic job was decent so im able to reuse them.
this was fun to play write new stuff to it for just for fun.
turned out to be more work that i thought though.

cool stuff.. I hear more Grave and Bolt Thrower in here than anything else... in the guitars anyway...the drums are a bit more upbeat than those two though.

u know i have zero bolt thrower or grave albums and there was a time when i heard them as a teenager and loved them...i need to get some, any in particular i should get?? thanks for any info

I don't know anything about the bands you've mentioned but your music and production work is always top notch stuff... EXTREMELY good.

Grave, check out "Burial Ground", "Into The Grave" and "Soulless"

Bolt Thrower, check out "The IVth Crusade", "Realm of Chaos" and "War Master"

That should give you a substantial introduction into both bands

man do i worship metal and death metal from 1990 to 1995.
i got to listening to the bolt thrower albums and man, i really dont know how i overlooked them back in the day. i think i know why, when i first heard death he kinda shadowed all other death metal bands, i didnt even know what death metal was then. i just knew i had to digest him entirely cause his playing style lit me up.
but know that im older i still can listen to this style of death metal and there is something about this time period that i feel is my personal fav. the riffs!
man i think my boring ass little riffs are cool, compared to bolt thrower and im just another marble in the pot.
i will get to grave next!

thanks guys for the recommendations, stuff like this just shows how much i missed.

and Bloodbath - Breeding Death and Resurrection Through Carnage.

i used to have crate combo and a boss hm-2 in front boosting the crates od channel!
that heavy accent was what change my tones...wish i still had that pedal
my mom traded it for a a mt-2 for christmas and i wanted my early death metal tone back

Totally! Ghost Prototype I: Measurement of thought is maybe my favourite song from them. But all of their older work (Älvestam as a singer) is great. Chaosweaver, Slaves to the Subliminal... Damn. Just too good.

Yeah. His voice is unbeatable in the modern metal genre IMO. Great cleans and massive, brutal and clear growls. The other one is Casey Sabol but since he left Periphery I haven't heard anything from him
