Ok, so I've decided to try out the Alternative 8. Only hting htat worries me is that Duncan lists it as having treble at 9??!?! Wouldn't that make it harsh?

i should go with the sh 15 for proper spacing too right?

I just put an Alt 8 in my SG and it sounds great. This guitar has that trashy SG thing going on like crazy and I've tried **** near a dozen pickups in it. The Alt 8 sounds more balanced than anything I've tried so far.

Jb is too thin!? I just don't get that. That pickup is so congested and thick with low mids and high mids.

I had a c5 it sounded pretty flat to me. It wasn't bad at all,but didn't do have a special quality that stuck out. I used a 250K in a strat and it was alright.
