The CUSTOM vs. the PRS DRAGON?

Hey guys!

I am about to replace the Dragons in my PRS CE-22 with Custom/59. I like the Dragons but want to see what the Duncans can do in her. Have any of you made an honest assesment of the two? before I make the final bite.....I would love to hear from the pickup gurus!

the HFS is more on par with the duncan custom overall
the dragon i believe has less bass and output than the custom?

Yeah, I think so. The HFS isn't as agressive as the Custom, however.

I ordered a CE22 a few months ago, and I've decided to replace the Dragons with the Custom/59' combo. So, like you, I'm extremely curious to hear these pups in the PRS. Guessing in the dark, it seems like the perfect pup combo for the woods in the CE. Hopefully someone has clips.

Well I replaced my Dragon II's with a custom and a jazz. The dragon II's are just a little too vintagy for me. The custom is going to be more aggressive and have more bite to it. I really love the sound of the jazz in the neck, the thing is just beautiful.
