I wonder if his is a piece of crap like just about every one that I've ever played. They all felt like a junky ass toy to me, and played and sounded like one as well. However, for some reason I still want one....lol.

I had a more modern Danelectro that I loved until the neck warped a bit. I fixed the problem, but the guitar was never the same after that. Sold it soon after. I still miss it sometimes.

I like them because they really have their own vibe. They can't do what a strat or LP can do but it has can do stuff those guitars can't. Those pickups with that weird body, just cool. Perfect slide guitar. I must own one some day.

I have a more refined version of the Danelectro, a Reverend. It's a bass, and it's a funky machine, but it's tone is incredible.
