The Dimarzio Chopper is in!!!!!!!! Pic included!

I finally got the Chopper into my strat with the stock Fender neck and middle pickups and stock pots.

Chopper aounds amazing. Wow!!!!

Chopper sounds amazing!!!! Now the stock Fender singles sound like doo doo. Also the Chopper is too dark with the 250k. I decided to install a 500k volume pot with either two Dimarzio 54 Pros or two neck Injectors. Which do you think? I am probably going to do Chopper/Virtual 54 Pro/Injector!

This Chopper pickup is a nice surprise. Needs a 500k volume however.

This Chopper pickup is a nice surprise. Needs a 500k volume however.

if you are staying with your stock singles in the middle and neck use the top control(500K) as a master for the chopper and the last two controls for volume and tone for the fender singles:cool2:

I thought you liked your Strat pickups the way they were - at least that's what you've been saying.

Toast man, I was saying that...but the silence of the Chopper and incredible tone really makes the stock singles seem anemic. Probably find some used Cruisers, Areas or Injectors. I will just replace the volume with a 500K.

the chopper is god in the bridge of a STRAT.
Put cruisers in the neck and middle and you have the quietest but still real/authentic sounding strat ever! trust me i didnt believe it at first until i tried it

Thanks Savage. Hey, when I created this post...it somehow created multiple posts so I had two delete two of them. Weird.

Dimarzio says the Cruisers are like a single coil blended with a humbucker. I am on the fence between this, Injectors or 54 Pro.

I want the middle and neck pickup to be like hot single coils. I have enough guitars with humbuckers so I don't want this strat to be a repeat.
I want them to be on the bright and clear side without mud under gain.
I am leaning toward Area 61 neck and 54 Pro middle.
Cruiser seems to have a lot of bass.

So, I want them to not be too bassy or muddy, they need to have good single coil tone, but fat, hot, clear and good for clean and medium gain. I am also looking at the Injectors, Area singles and Virtual '54 Pro.

Since Dimarzio was correct about the Chopper and also about a 500K volume, I am taking their advice and going Fast Track 1 neck and Cruiser bridge in the middle. And I would like to thank you guys forum buddies.
I need to find the correct wiring diagram.
I will report back.

Got home early today and been rocking the Chopper in the strat, through my Bogner and Splawn cab. Amazing, creamy sounding pickup. So frickin warm. I think it needs a 500K volume though.

I am not too worried about pure single coil tone, I really could care less. I just want the middle and neck pickup to have some single coil characterists, but I prefer them to be louder, fatter and thicker than a typical single coil, but they must be great playing clean, I need to be able to get crystal clean, clean tones, and I am fine if the Cruiser and Fast Track are capable of this.
