The Eventide Space is haunting me...

I have a Space-sized hole on my pedalboard, and it seems absolutely perfect for my post-rock material. Is the Space still the top of the heap of reverb pedals, as far as versatility & tweakability are concerned?

I can't imagine another reverb that does more?! If it wasn't so big, or I had a larger space on stage, I'd get a bigger board and definitely have the Space & Timeline.

I admit, I live for your threads and make a private wager with myself as to how many words in you will drop 'post rock' into the opening sentence. :)

It post-rock could post-rock be post-rock worse.

Also, you should get out more :laugh2:

Man, I really want to buy...
Timeline
El Capistan
Blue Sky
Time factor
Space
Memory Lane

To compare and contrast and keep the (2) winners... But that's like over $3K worth of guitar pedals! Not quite like buying a TS-9 and OD-1 to compare... ;)

I'd go with a Neunaber Wet Stereo for quality of tone over versatility & tweak-ability any day.

Re: The Eventide Space is haunting me...

The Space is great, but a bit overkill for my tastes. I'd spend more time tweaking than playing. Get a Blue Sky, and run it in stereo with your other Strymon pedals, bet you couldnt hold back a smile.
